The film which won the Audience Choice Award at the DIFF 2012, is actually a Discovery Channel exploration of a twisty Love Story which goes hand in hand with the male protagonist's story of today, on the backdrop of beautiful locales. The film scores with it's original screenplay (director Nitin Tiwari) which has shades of films like Hindi film "Rang De Basanti" for showing parallel narration and the recent Malayalam hit "Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi" for the film having a tour in search of love and a story, then the cinematography work by Eugene DSouza which captures the locales and beauty of Uttarakhand brilliantly, the production design work (Various) and then the BGM Score by Sudeep and Milind. The male protagonist played by Karan Sharma is brilliant and some of the supporting cast is good too. But the flaws lie in few things such as few scenes in the film were overstretched, then and the romantic track too was quite stretched, the sound design and dubbing and even few performances too lacked the brilliance that could have enhanced the beauty. But the film scores with it's narration, visuals and the twisty climax and successfully brings out the best of the God's Own Heaven. A good Weekend fare.
My rating would be 3. 5/ 5
