War Chhod Na Yaar : This one's got be one of the brilliant Indian satirical films till date, coming under films like "Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron" and "Khosla Ka Ghosla" where writer and director Faraz Haider brilliantly handles the serious issue of Indo Pak relations and the political and media game in it on celluloid in his debut, with the shades of patriotism and the need for peace. The only flaw felt were the song(s) which wasn't much required in the film. The director scores well with his original screenplay, with no nonsense involved which has the best moments which will actually make you laugh to the hilt and also make you think about the peace relations and adding to it are the dialogues by Deepak Kingrani which add humor in every frame and the cinematography by Sejal Shah who brilliantly captures the mood of the front and the dark side beneath. Now coming to the performances, Dalip Tahil showcases the best of his versatility and he scores well in his brilliant comic timing. Sanjay Mishra and Vivek Rana are brilliant too and the lead Shraman Joshi, Soha Ali Khan and especially Javed Jaffery are simply riveting and their chemistry on screen is worth watching in the film. It was also fun watching my college people and even my own college on screen. Plus, a note for the offence takers regarding the depiction of the war and such things in the film: please dont use your brains in taking the offence and just treat yourself with this film. Yeh Film Dekh Na Yaar!
My Rating would be 4/ 5
